Let’s go back to a time when our main priority was what we were going to do at recess, playing MASH, and watching Polkaroo's Polka Dot Shorts. In honour of my long time, elementary school friend, Kass; one of our Spring 2012 Trends is Polka Dots.

Polka dots are going to be a hot pattern for Spring 2012. Such designers as Suno, Adam, Luca Luca and Tory Burch have showcased the polka dot pattern in their spring collections. More affordable renditions of these designs have been popping up at H&M and Forever 21.  Watch out for new renditions on familiar themes, such as a painterly style of black-on-white polka dots, as well as multicolored jewel-tone spots. Polka dots are classic, youthful and create a sense of playfulness and wonder; perfect to set the mood for your closets’ spring awakening. Create an ultra-feminine silhouette with high-wasted polka dot shorts and a black bustier top; pair with black strappy platform wedges and you’re set for a night on the town. Kassandra is featured here wearing spring’s latest confection. You can be subtle and pair this look down with a white t-shirt and long stranded necklace or add a pop of color with a splash of red.
